Comments sought on public-art plans
Redmond is seeking public comment on proposals for two public-arts projects, one at the Public Safety Building and the other at Grass Lawn Park.
Drawings and models of the proposals will be displayed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Aug. 3 at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 N.E. 80th St., and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6-10 at Redmond City Hall, 15670 N.E. 85th St.
After reviewing the comments, a committee will recommend one finalist for each project to the Redmond Arts Commission on Sept. 13.
The final recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for funding approval as part of the Capital Improvement Project budget's Percent for the Arts Program.
