Woman killed in SUV A 60-year-old Redmond woman was killed Thursday when she ran off the road and crashed into a drainage ditch east of here. Trooper Jeff Merrill said the woman's SUV rolled over and came to rest upside-down in about one foot of water. An autopsy is needed to determine how she died, Merrill said. The crash on Highway 202 near 264th Avenue Northeast was reported by a passing driver at about 12:10 p.m.Merrill said investigators believe the crash happened shortly before the first call to 911. No one else was in the vehicle and the name of the woman who was killed has not been released. “ |
